Really?!

Class assignments are given to enable students to practice what they (should have) have learned in class and their own preparatory study.
I find it hard to believe that you have been given this assignment unless you should, at this point in your course, be equipped to do it!
Maybe it's time to review your class notes?

If you really do feel that your course to date has not equipped you to even start this assignment, then you must take that up with your tutors, student counsellors, or whatever.
