Well-written Windows software will present the user with a full list of the serial ports actually available on the system. I just wish well-written laptops still came with even a single serial port. The lack of a serial port on recent laptops is extremely annoying for the 45 cents they save on the production cost from leaving out a serial port. Regards, Craig Steiner |
