I posted the following in the Keil forum
the following string

c:toolskeilc51binbl51 MSstart.obj, MSisr.obj, MSxdata.obj, ams.lib, c51s.lib TO ams.omf RS(256) IX >protl.log

produces an object with no overlay of variables, what is wrong. Also, no index is generated.

The string worked with a prior release.

Not getting an answer I sent it to Keil support

they replied

AND sent me a quote for $1147 for the above.

I will gladly pay a reasonable fee for support, but this is ridiculous.

So

1) can anyone answer the question without charging $1147 for it

2) if not has anyone switched from Keil to Raisonance and how was the experience
