#73884 - RE: Keil question or switch to Raisonance Responding to: ???'s previous message |
For my AVR programming I use CodeVision, $150 to purchase, $75 annual maintenance agreement.
The way I calculate it, that's about 50% for annual maintenance. Annual maintenance for the Keil tools is only 30% :-). That gets all updates for 1 year and phone/fax/email support. In addition, our knowledgebase has over 2,000 articles on-line, tons of example code, application notes, and so on. I haven't looked lately, but I don't seem to recall as much web-based support available for other vendor's tools. If you compare apples to apples, you'll most likely find the Keil tools are just what you want/need. Jon Ward Keil Software |
