#73852 - RE: Keil question or switch to Raisonanc
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Professional Suite RKitP51
IDE, Assembler, C Compiler, Linker, Tiny RTOS, Simulator, ROM-Monitor No Limitation
€1595

The above is a clipping from the site pointed to by Rob. Why have they bundled an RTOS with the package ?
The usual consensus here used to be that RTOS is not required for 8051 apps. Or is that now that the flash code memory is getting bigger RTOS is feasible ? What purpose would an RTOS serve in 8051 where it may be quite difficult to implement multi threading , message passing etc.
