I will requote part of my original post for you in case you didn't catch it the first time.

"In my case the 2n2222a is substituted for a higher output BU807. The Led of course is substituted for a coil, R1 is 10ohms and the input is from a 2n2222a not the mcu output. VLoad is also VCC in my case."

Sorry Vcc is 12 volts and frequency I am using is a single pulse.
