#74303 - RE: devellopement kit Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I use both systems
There you go, use what is best for what is at hand. didn't want to start a school war No 'war' between 'schools'. I detest the Redmondians, just have accepted that '51 tools work with their stuff and grin and bear it. It just happens that when someone boast something that is the same in either case as an advantage of their system I do respond. The Linux just like the Apple users seem to be very adamant that in every respect their beloved system is superior, which it may very well be in some respects. Anyhow, I did not set out to defend Windows, just stated that the '51 tools are designed for Windows and thus work as well as can be expected under Windows and need jumps through hoops to work inder Linux. I have yet to see "Line" that makes Linux programs work under windows. So, evidently there is a need to run windows programs under Linux, but no need to run Linux programs under Windows. Again, no promotion of any OS, just stating the reality. Erik |
