Thank you very much for your reply, I use soft-dog timers as you suggested extensively in my projects to make sure program do not wait forever for an event which may never happen due to external hardware or mechanical failure. That’s a good idea. But I think one should be careful that soft-dogs do not update within infinite loops as I said to oleg.
