#7561 - RE: Capital Punishment: Capacitor Purchasing
Looking over Nichicon's AE caps I think I found a better fit for my height and board constraints:

For the Series RU:
-40C to +85C
+63V rated
470uf: 900ma @ 85C & 120Hz
470uf: 720ma @ 85C & 50Hz
22mm x 12.5mm
Dual Cap in parallel meets criteria!

For the Series RY:
-55C to +105C
+63V rated
470uf: 610ma @ 105C & 120Hz
470uf: 488ma @ 105C & 50Hz
22mm x 12.5mm
Triple Cap in parallel for extended thermal.

SOLUTION:
Layout PCB for triple 22mm x 12.5mm caps if the room is available, else stick with dual cap layout. With the triple layout, I can always populate two 85C RU series caps unless I have an extended thermal special order.

I suspect I won't have room for the triple caps. Nichicon has a solution if the parts are available. I'll check the other listed manufacturers tomorrow. This is the first good feasible solution so far... Thanks Sunny Tang!

If I dig up a few more feasible solutions, I'll toss them to my analog subcontractor expert for validation.
