Unnoticed, not secret. That has advantages.
Back to the Capacitor topic... I surveyed all companies and listed the feasible products in order of their PCB surface area in square millimeters. The best solution is to use 6 or 7 (depending upon vendor) 8mm x 11.5mm radial aluminum electrolytics standing upright in the PCB (as normal for radials). My consultant had suggested three radials bent onto their sides, but this solution consumes less PCB area and is cheaper. aka j |
