#75763 - Hardware bug? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Even the following compiles, simulates, but won't run.
Hallo Marty, does exist any program written in C by you with this eval ('evil' ?) package that worked up to now? And if you burn your code memory directly with compiled code, does it work then? Are you sure that your code memory becomes programmed at all? Could a hardware bug be the cause of all your problems? Try to write a C code for only clearing a certain port pin. Make a loop, so that the port pin is set to logical low state over and over again. Nothing else! Connect to this port pin the cathode of a LED and connect from its anode to Vcc a resistor of about 1kOhm, so that the LED turns-on, when according port pin goes low. As after power-on-reset all port pins are logical high with standard '51, a turn-on of LED would indiciate, that your code works (very probably) and that your code memory is able to become programmed (very probably).
