Still, for a small, handy "PC pad" with a multitasking OS, GUI and office-style apps, a "single chip computer" would be a nicer choice than multi-IC architecture, and IO speed has little to do with it.
BTW, has anyone tried the RTOS included in ROM of DS80C400? Does it do any good or is it just an excuse to fill the rest of the 64K ROM where TCP/IP stack resides already? |
