We'll need a schematic to see how you are connecting the keypad to the microcontroller. Or at the very least we need to know what pins of the keypad are connected to what I/O pins.
Code would be useful. Also, have you verified that the microcontroller is working to start with? Slap a LED on an output port and write a program that just toggles the LED once every second and make sure that works. Maybe the problem isn't that the keypad isn't working, maybe the whole circuit is dead! Regards, Craig Steiner |
