Instead if trying to making unknown code work with your hardware how about writing your own code, don't forget comments, and if it doesn't work show the code here and you will get help. You will learn very little if you just copy someones code without understanding how it works. If it is homework, it's not a good start to say "gimme code" instead of trying to put at least some job into writing your own.
