You could install a background IP address filter if you wanted to prevent someone from coming in under multiple IDs and starting an excessive number of threads.

The above is going to be helpful only for tracking people with static IP addresses. What about people like me whose IP addresses keep changing everytime a connection to internet is established. What about people getting broadband internet connection through proxy servers. All the PC having common sever are going to reflect same IP address. For instance in my town we have a Cable Internet Service Provider who has given more than 10,000 internet connection from a common server through proxy server configuration.
