#77395 - RE: Reviewing scoring history Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Why do you get to analyze the numbers and no one else? Because I'm the webmaster of the site. Why is your method the only way to analyze the numbers? If you have a suggestion of another way to analyze the numbers feel free to suggest them. But I don't see any indication of any problems or grudges between people being acted upon via the karma system. Except for the one exception I already mentioned. I say show us the data and let each of us make up our own minds. When the karma system was instituted it was either stated or assumed that the scores would be anonymous. I will not publish a list of users/votes on a named basis because that would be changing the rules midstream. Theoretically I could create a script that generates the same data but refers to users by some obscure coded number so that it wouldn't be possible to determine who scores who, but someone could bring attention to a specific coded number (which would refer to a specific user) as an example of someone that is abusing the system. Does anyone besides Charles think this is necessary? Regards, Craig Steiner 8052.com Webmaster |
