How often hav I been where I could not see the tree for the forrest (I know the saying is the other way around) but my forehead is flat from my reaction when "finding the tree". I hear that. I just ran into a tree at full throttle this morning. I'd been working on a strange problem for almost a day and had double and triple checked connections looking for an explanation. Sent schematics of my circuit to a few friends for verification. No joy. Then I realized this morning that my dang oscillator wasn't connected to XTAL1 and XTAL2. Pound, pound, pound (the sound of my head banging against the tree repeatedly). The dang thing still doesn't work but now for entirely different reasons. :) Regards, Craig Steiner |
