Good news.
The profile tracer is almost in its final stages of tuning and the plots have started coming in. Currently it is ready for a Reliability and Repeatability ( R&R) study. The Feedback Vs Command plot is below : 
Some details : > The feedback is plotted with a moving average of 5 samples. > The discontinuity in the plot ( -2.3 to 0 ) was due to an insufficient buffer in the VB code. Has hence been sorted out. > The results tally very well with the valve manufacturer's data sheet ( Bosch_Rexroth - Germany). I am a happy man today. Thanks to one and all of you who contributed and helped me analyse the problem in a differnt perspective. Cheers!! Raghu |
