#77479 - Back on talking terms with ADC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
In Raghu's instance, the poor ADC was hung before being proved guilty! Maybe not hung but was suspected! Anyway I have now shook hands with the ADC and we are good friends now. Actually the point made by you with reference to guys looking for components to blame, (when they have forgotten to switch on power) is very true. In almost all cases of poor performance it is the APPLICATION that is at fault and not the product. Rare is the instance where every bit of performance has been extracted and the product starts to lag behind.. > 8052 forced to run Windows _XP_Pro or Java for that matter. > Reading the data sheet AFTER applying or designing using the chip. > Reading the data sheet but NOT understanding it in totality. > Belief that "I know this already" and hence the mental block to assimilate more. > The conviction that "This will do".
