Well actually I don't have a question about the LPT port itself.
It is really a 8051 question because I'm looking to add a parallel output port similar to a PC LPT port to a mcu design. As I only need to output the 8 datalines and no other centronix signals, I don't think that it could be so difficult, but I don't want to blow up stuff. Therefore I look how to do it. |
