#77727 - Fighting academia Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Lisa, please give this to your teacher Fighting academia is a lost cause, especially as a student. Lisa isn't going to get any brownie points or extra credit if she passes that message on to her professor (though an anonymous note might not be a bad idea). On an economics final I once took I remember I answered some question with what I knew was reality but then appended it with "But the answer YOU'RE looking for is..." Since it was the final right before summer break and I didn't care enough to go back and pick it up I don't know how that answer was graded. I did pass the course with an 'A' though. :) Academia is completely out of touch with electronics, computers, economics, and politics. The only way to change it is from the inside--which means some of us that are bothered by their current material need to spend some time on campus as professors. Regards, Craig Steiner |
