OK its old, BUT

I did not hear any suggestion on a NEWER trainer that the Prof can use. As far as the student is concerned they wrote to an external device. Old, new it is just a memory mapped register. You know you can still buy brand new 8085 trainers. Talk about dead (must be NOS chips).
I assume it is just a programming class. If it is a build it yourself class then maybe the prof should look to update. May be this is a buisness oppertunity for someone.
