That was a good explanation - yes even though I could not express in technical terms the way you did it, I also practically saw the effect of heavy filtering - the amplitude was attenuated. I do agree that the green curve is what I want. Let me hook up the circuit and revert - right now I am managing a with a simple 5 sample moving average.
