#79008 - RE: Problems with Atmels BOR?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hallo Oleg,

thanks for your suggestions!

Oleg said:
Moreover, most power SV which have manual reset input, provide reset-delay and so reset timings will be in safe conditions even if ISP software fails with it.

In order to take care of unproper performance of AT89S8252 (documented in an earlier errata sheet) for which to program the ISP-prorammer was also 'designed', ISP-programmer makes the reset line to toggle, when activating! So, this reset delay would even be helpful to suppress this toggling for the AT89S52, as it seems not to be needed for this chip. But what, if it is needed, but not documented...
If so, I should use a power SV, which does not provide a delay for manual reset..

Again, thanks!
Kai
