contacted them, but they meant everything is fine...
when Atmel produced the very first flash '51 derivatives, I reported a problem with them at a rev level of about 'G. Atmel replied "this problem does not exist with our chips". I asked my boss for some UV chips, he replied "Atmel say ther is no problem, fix your code". Eventually I lost the job because I could not "fix the code". Lo and behold at about revision 'S' the problem I reported showed up in the errata for the chip. Since then I consider "Atmel" a 4 letter word. Erik |
