Thanks for the information. However, I don't have any digital I/O port available and I don't use I2C bus. The existing interface is designed for security points. The purpose of this design is to send the temperature voltage to one of those points, which has ADC built into, and if the temperature is beyond some pre-programmed range, an alarm will be generated to central monitoring stations. It won't be a clean ground-up design, more or less, a patch work for now. |
