Entropy has its value.... back in 1991 when my home was burglarized, things taken were those which were easily removed. Two computers; self-contained on the counters, and VCRs, stereo, etc.

There was evidence of a considerable (unsuccessful) struggle to sort out the wires under the desk which run in wire trays.

Those computers and peripherals which would have taken too long to disconnect were left behind ;-)
