I am a student doing an FYP and I need to be able to identify the location of a component in a circuit as it is plugged into the circuit but I dont really know how to do that.
It is a project for a childrens museum to build an electronics exhibit. It will consist of a large breadboard-esque device into which components can be plugged in,this device will be routed through a microcontroller and into a java program and it is here i need to be able to display the components as they are plugged in.The programming is not a problem, just the actual h/w side of it. Any ideas would be great!
