Hi Michael,
Thanks a lot for your response and clarifying the point that Kai wanted to highlight. But at present I want to leave the idea of using ICL7660 since I can't rely on sypply that degrades unpredictably. At present I am concentrating on feasibility of using a single supply op-Amp.
