Sorry Erik, but that answer is wrong; after all, what is a UART if it is not a Serial port...?!
OK, OK maybe I goofed; however I think many see "serial port" as a 232 port and reading the post I got the impression that was the posters understanding. After all in "PC language" a "serial port" is a RS-232 port. Ever so often the same can mean more than one thing. Erik |
