#81623 - is Drive connected through Choke ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I Think it may be because of Harmonics.
I had similar problem when connecting the AC drive for 60 HP Motor. Machine is having PLC of some other make and i was installing one AC drive to control the speed of the 60 HP Motor. When the drive (Motor ) is Started temperature values on the PLC are jumping randomly up 150 deg more than the actual values. isolated Thermocouples are used. but still problem was there. Then we have connected one Input Choke between Mains and Drive and the problem was reduced but not eliminated. temperature jumpings came down to 5 to 10 deg. Haribabu |
