Why don't you use a flash memory? The usual reason is because it is generally not byte eraseable - so you have to erase a whole sector before you can write any byte in that sector. This may or may not be a problem, depending on the application. Also, flash designed for code storage is not really intended for frequent erase cycles. Again, this may or may not be a problem, depending on the application. |
