Dear Forum Members,

I am using P89V51RD2FA, According to the datasheet this derivative has four level priority scheme. The interrupt priority is controlled using IP0 @ 0xB8 and IP0H @ 0xB7 registers. I want my Timer 1 routine to be executed immediately after the timer 1 flag is set to get precise firing. Thus I am setting putting value 0x08 in both the register i.e. IP0 & IP0H. Is it correct or I am doing something wrong. Here is snapshot of the device datasheet.
