i am planning to get the evaluation module of CC1010 fabricated by my self.(meaning i will get the CC1010EM fabricated and assembled by some third party.) This means that you will have to debug both the hardware and the software - as Erik said, you are trading time for money. Also please note Erik's comment that RF construction (and debugging!) is a specialist area... My question is that is it possible to get the project done without having the development board because i will not have the debugging facility available without the development board? Most chip manufacturers publish the schematics of their dev kits, and make any software available for download - so you should be able to build everything you require. There is nothing magic about dev kits - you are just paying for the convenience of having a ready designed, built, tested, documented, supported platform. Also I have some experience with the microcontroller AT89C51. The processor architecture and instruction set will be identical, as will be the "basic" 8051 feature set (Serial Port, Timers, etc). The specific set of "extra" peripherals will be different, but the means of accessing them will be the same (via SFR or memory-mapped). This is the beauty of the 8051 family. I have no experience with Real Time OS You should not need any for this. |
