#82327 - non-sequitur Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have to implement only 10 nodes but wireless sensor networks may have thousands of nodes. Also the network will be multihop and self organising so i think for these reasons there will be a need for some RTOS. That is a non-sequitur; ie, the conclusion does not follow from the reasons given: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=...n+sequitur I have recently been working on project with an 8051 running a TCP/IP stack, a GPRS link, real-time serial comms to a vending machine, two Dalla microLANs, plus some other stuff - and not an RTOS in sight! I'm sure you don't need an RTOS - unless you are being forced into it by some 3rd-party software? |
