#82478 - sjmp vs ajmp
Hello
is anyone out there who can tell me anny advatage off using sjmp instead of ajmp? The only diference I can see form Programmers guide is that ajmp is limited to 2K block if not using last two bytes of one 2K block. If using them you should jmp to the next 2k block. Acording to my understanding of the programmers guide inc adress twice and then use 11 bit Adress. Sjmp always gives the possibility to jmp +127/-128 byte not care about memory blocks.
No difference in timing.

Anny comments?

Regards
Peter
