#82917 - Nixie tubes in the tool box Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I imagine there are a number of people like me that used to work for Burroughs that still have a few Nixie tubes tucked away in their tool boxes. I know I do. When I first started working for Burroughs all the main status displays were Nixies...LEDs weren't around yet. Those were the computers that still had genuine core memory too.
