#83513 - Where are 8051's used? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have seen 8051's used on a whole slew of very high volume types of products. Some examples: Hard disk drives, Modems, Thermal printers, PC mother boards as KB controller, Keyboards, Flash card "drives" and many more. Many years of availability of this architecture, as originated by Intel over 20 years ago, have made some of the applications I have seen become a dim memory!
