As far as ANSI (strictly, ISO) is concerned, the extra brackets are merely a convenience for the human reader. Now not all compilers will support this... Presumably, Tasking (or whatever) does; clearly, Keil doesn't! Another reason why Philips should state which compiler the code is for! |
