In my code I had three low level routines - send '1' bit, send '0' bit and receive bit. Each routine had 4 copies of the same code tailored for each 1wire bus (I had 4 busses). Not classy, but short of 'and'ing and 'or'ing and I limited the replicated code to the three routines.
