I want three(3) different networks, running to three(3) different locations and be able to detect not only the device, but also the network it is connected to.
"detect" implies that things happen that are initialized outside your micro. If you want to "detect" there is no way you can have a common routine. Hence I need to dynamically allocate “ button_io “ to P2.0 or P2.2 or P2.4 you need, but can't have. I am sure that it has already been stated in this thread you can not address bits indirectly. The routine you show is so small that making it in triplicate as suggested is no big deal and that will take care of all your problems. Erik |
