I'd say 40A is actually on the low side for a whole house - surely you Americans would expect even more, with only 115V to play with...?! ;-) The incoming supply fuse is 100A in our house, and the meter says "max 80A" on the face. with 8 bits you will only get a maximum of 150 milliamps resolution. Interesting - what is the usual resolution of electricity meters? |
