#86144 - What the customer wanted.. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Bruce,
Your reply was very comforting. Thanks. Yes I would say that the customer got what he wanted and more in terms of data analysis capability. And since I have been at this test rig building for long, lots of discipline go in signal conditioning and hardware layout ( thanks to advice from stalwarts in this forum ). This ensures a very high level of acquired data integrity and precision. You summed up the situation when you said "the implementation would not have been what you desired ". Very true. Like when I code for a rig in assembly, I know every line and the implementation - and the code flow is almost by-heart by the time I deliver. But in the case of a first time use of a new language, this level of confidence is not there. But I guess if what is delivered does what it is supposed to, and you are ready to support promptly when in need, the job is well done.. Cheers. Raghu |
