I doubt if you're the first one in this situation! We all start out knowing very little about something, then with experience we get more confident. I'm sure you're a bit more conversant with LabView now - a bit more experience and you'll be an expert!
You have to start somewhere - just think of the poor bunnies that built the first nuclear reactor - they had buckets of moderating liquid in case something went wrong - hardly professional by today's standards (in fact downright stupid!) but they learn't quickly. |
