#88025 - VB to Microcontroller
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I really recommend that when you send data to a microcontroller over a COMM link with VB that you open the MSCOMM port in binary mode and then send the data via a Byte Array type variable. This will save you untold grief now and in the future. The answer as to why is discussed in Richard Grier's book "Visual Basic Programmers Guide to Serial Communications" from Mabry Publishing. This book is worth every penny it costs when working with with VB and Comm ports.
