#88100 - The solution, but ... (almost off topic) Responding to: ???'s previous message |
OK, I spent my weekend playing with my board, and I found a few interesting issues.
First, the right Resistor value should be low, with 1K it goes decently well, because apparently (Ohmeter measured) both common pins of the LCD display are linked with a 3.7 K resistance value. The voltage levels go slightly different (2.3 up and 2.7 down, instead of the desired 2.5) but it doesn't seem to be the deal now... But I still can turn on only one segment !!! I am thinking in throwing away that d.. Chinese display (EDC190), mainly as I was not able to find a decent datasheet, despite writing to the company, and even googling around all the web... If anyone has experience with 7segment LCD displays (multiplexed ones), please I'd love to have the chance for asking a few questions about, or if someone knows where to get reliable information about this kind of parts, URL's are welcomed !!!! Greetings Sebastián |
