Well, for your information too, this is my graduation project.I really some expert can help with me, a beginner.
Firstly, i have adopt the LCD_Keypad.asm program from this site to interface keypad and LCD together.( I really Hope someone can help me with the real schematic for that program?) From my understanding, i connect my circuit such way 1) The LCD to PORT 1 and EN, RW, RS to PORT 3 as specified. 2) The KEYPAD (4 rows but 3 columns only) where col at port 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4 to 10kohm and lead to VCC. The Rows connected to Pin port p.0.5,0.6,0.7. What i get from that connection is ... nothing.. but there is a refresh response from pressing the keypad but with slow speed. Previously, I have tested my LCD and minimal 8051 connection with a simple LCD display program and its work. The chip i used is AT89c51 and is not spoilt. COuld anyone help me with that troubleshooting? |
