#88232 - EPP o USB ?? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have writen a little C DOS app for transfer a couple of bytes from a MCU to the LPT of my PC and reach 200 KBytes/sec.
It was with a PIC running at 20Mhz, and doing no data processing, only transmit. I think with a 8051 running a higher clock rate you can reach more higer speeds. I read that the max. is about 2MBytes/sec but don't know if using DMA or something. If you need more speed EPP port could be your answer or perhaps USB ?? Regards. |
