#88416 - Here is one Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The logical connection for communicating between two micros is connecting Tx pin of transmitting micro to Rx pin of receiving micro (with common ground between the two). I tried this and it worked. The idea of putting a MAX232 between them is for increasing the physical distance between the two micros since MAX232 basically converts TTL voltage levels to higher voltage levels to compensate the signal loss along the long distance. |
