#88575 - Aplication Responding to: ???'s previous message |
You must answer yourself for some simply questions.
Communication for what?? Is it stream of data to transfer or very small portion of data? What do one uPC and what should to do another? Is it Master-Slave or to Masters connection? Are they work on the same ground and supply? Are they get the same current or one is get much more? Is there any noises or only typical clear connection? Is this appliance will free from external RF noise, shielded or not? Etc. Then you just make a litle test. For low costs you can use a pair of tranoptors (optical isolation) or just TTL buffers as UCY7407, but it is not a communication standard. I think if it is a professional aplication you should use transceivers RS-232 or even RS-485. |
